Wayland P. Seagraves (1910-1992) received both his bachelors (1932) and masters (1933) degrees in electrical engineering from North Carolina State College of Agriculture and Engineering (later North Carolina State University). He was a member of the school's faculty from 1936 to 1948, and returned in 1957 after working as a radio engineer for WPTF. In 1969, the university honored Seagraves with an "Outstanding Teacher" award. In 1970, alumni selected him as the top teacher in the School of Engin...
